Miss Reilly playing in the leaves!

I had to take this shot... i noticed the other day how her coloring and the leaves just POPPED color. So after some doing... she struck her POSE for me! Mr. Specht is now cleaning up all the leaves.... NO FUN!

"Fisherman's Prize"

Ok... so I'm still dreaming of the beach...with 5 more inches of snow forcast... who wouldn't! This pix of my husband and I was taken by my cousin in NC last summer! Sorry but i could not even think of getting my camera out for yet another SNOW pix! It was this or my daughter's coin toss experiment pix. LOL!

Ok... this is an extra pix today for Boobaby's birthday!

I caught this little guy and got several great shots... but i have no clue what kind of bird it is? Little help Boo... or any of you other bird watchers?

EDIT: Well the majority says this is a Tree Swallow...Thank you all for your help!

I have no idea what this plant is... (BEST viewed in largest size possible!) it was in the greenhouse at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. I loved the multiple layers of colors on this plant... it was a super beautiful day... finally... WARM and SUNNY. Thanks for the fun day Mary!

Monarch Butterfly

Still playing some with Lightroom... it's getting easier and i REALLY like it. Going to take some time this week and play with the new 50mm f/1.4 and see how we roll.

Congratulations to Mary Adams-Morrow on her new JOB!!!!!

This pix was taken on one of our last outings while i was playing with the new 50mm, f/1.4 lens. Mare was a good sport and indulged me with a few poses...like she had a choice :)

I hope this pix makes up for the one last winter i posted with your infamous "purple" hat :) I wish you the best my friend and I'm so proud of all your accomplishments with your photography as well. I will certainly miss our "excellent adventures"!!!! I believed in you, when you didn't always believe in yourself! Love ya bunches :)

OK... so which one of you would like to "babysit" me a day a week on photo shoots? Try to keep me from getting lost, direct me into at least 3 u-turns a trip, make me laugh til i cry, carry the EPI pen, tell me to not play with bees, and keep me out of most of the trouble i try to get into? It's a tough job, but guarenteed a lot of FUN! :)

Call me if you're up for a fall trip to Brandy Wine Falls or the Covered Bridge in Mochican State Park :)

Goin' UP!

This was taken at West Gate Shopping Center, in Glendale, AZ last October. I am finally getting through some of these pix. I thought the angle of this and being outside was just too cool to pass up a photo op! Im headed back there last week of Feb to attend the Bon Jovi concert! Can't wait to get out of this COLD weather!

HRH Princess Jessica

Typical Teenager? Probably! Born with a tiara, and cell phone in hand!!!!! Have you ever tried to shoot a teenager while she is texting? Not an easy feat!

Jessica announced that today was the day for her Freshman Yr. school pix...being that she is not often a willing subject... i put off my plans for a bit and obliged!

Winter Woes!

The warmer temps and rain have brought the wall of my front flower bed tumbling down!

Anxious for a chance to shoot something outside i saw the opportunity for a cool "texture" piece; my husband did not find it as amusing!

Anyway.... a wise friend once said.... "it is...what it is" :)

This shot was taken with a polorizing filter, even the camera needed shades on this hike! I sure miss those warm temps! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold in OHIO!

Pooches on Parade! Lots of K-9s on the dailys yesterday... great minds think alike right? :)

Did you ever try to get two active "weiner" dogs to lay down? This was some trick! Still playing with the 50mm and some Lightroom tricks. I think i love it (the lens and LR) ~!

"Failure to Launch"

Ravenna Balloon A-Fair, Ravenna, OH

I went to the Balloon A-Fair this Sunday afternoon with Mare Adams-Morrow (Scarlet Iris Photography), a few friends and the kids all in tow. We also had the pleasure to meet up with Ann Bridges (Pointandshoot), These balloons did inflate but the weather just was not cooperating and they did not take off. None the less, the crowd was pleased.

Sadly... this was the last EXCELLENT ADVENTURE with Mare for a bit....I wish her the best of luck in the new job!
