JDSpechtPhotography > 03-16-2009 I have no idea what this plant is... (BEST viewed in largest size possible!) it was in the greenhouse at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. I loved the multiple layers of colors on this plant... it was a super beautiful day... finally... WARM and SUNNY. Thanks for the fun day Mary! per Santiago Aulestia (shootsa): For your information, this plant is commonly called Croton (Codiaeum variegatum, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codiaeum_variegatum). Thanks for your help on this one! I appreciate it!

JDSpechtPhotography > 09-18-2009 Congratulations to Mary Adams-Morrow on her new JOB!!!!! This pix was taken on one of our last outings while i was playing with the new 50mm, f/1.4 lens. Mare was a good sport and indulged me with a few poses...like she had a choice :) I hope this pix makes up for the one last winter i posted with your infamous "purple" hat :) I wish you the best my friend and I'm so proud of all your accomplishments with your photography as well. I will certainly miss our "excellent adventures"!!!! I believed in you, when you didn't always believe in yourself! Love ya bunches :) OK... so which one of you would like to "babysit" me a day a week on photo shoots? Try to keep me from getting lost, direct me into at least 3 u-turns a trip, make me laugh til i cry, carry the EPI pen, tell me to not play with bees, and keep me out of most of the trouble i try to get into? It's a tough job, but guarenteed a lot of FUN! :) Call me if you're up for a fall trip to Brandy Wine Falls or the Covered Bridge in Mochican State Park :) Jilly

I thought the angle of this and being outside was just too cool to pass up a photo op! Im headed back there last week of Feb to attend the Bon Jovi concert!
